P1010411Buen Samaritano Clinic is a licensed, Christian clinic located in the impoverished village of El Floron, Manabí Province of Ecuador.  Buen Samaritano opened in 2004 explicitly for the people of El Floron.  The community of 25,000 originated as a squatters village of poor residents. Dental Program

P1020688The dental clinic is part of the Buen Samaritano Clinic.  A licensed dentist operates the clinic a half day, Monday through Friday.  A dental program was started to educate the community regarding the importance of dental care in relationship to overall health. Read more…

 

Mission

care of local wheelchair patientsThe goal of both Fundación “Yo Te Amo,” CO (USA) and Fundación El Buen Samaritano (Ecuador) is based on a conviction best expressed in Proverbs 31:8 & 9. (NIV)  “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.  Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” The founders of FYTA, the current/ past boards and supporters share in a desire to help those impoverished physically, spiritually and emotionally . . . Thus, Buen Samaritano Clinica provides medical care in many areas such as “failure to thrive“ infants, physical deformities, emotional trauma, meeting needs of bedridden patients in the community, elderly disabilities and multiple situations experienced by the impoverished where no other means of help is available. Funding

IMG_2502In addition to the donated funds from churches and private individuals Fundación “Yo Te Amo,” CO holds fundraising events that consist of handcrafted wares from Ecuador.   Items are purchased from Ecuadorian artisans who work diligently to support their family.  In turn, items are sold at various World Outreach Markets throughout the Denver area.
